The Pink Pummeler is briefly seen with Moist while Moist is trying to call Dr. Horrible who is too busy plotting Captain Hammer's murder to pick up. He is probably also a friend of Horrible himself and is seen at Dr. Horrible's celebratory Evil League of Evil.
It is suspected that Moist and the Pink Pummeler are in a homosexual relationship, mainly via the presence of Moist in the Pink Pummeler's room which, it must be said, had a decidedly femenine atmosphere. The only counterresponse to this is Moist's comment in the beginning about speed-dating.
